About this editorial team

How we test. testing starts with a real signup, deposit via Bancontact, request payout and record the turnaround. Every operator goes past the Gaming Commission's white and black lists and go over the small print word by word.
An affiliate fee sits on the outbound links; the verdict stays the same, commission or not. If the licence is missing, it says so, fee or no fee.
What the law imposes
The Belgian framework around player protection is more strictly than most of its neighbours and you feel it on the first deposit. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200.
Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. Reversing it is not immediate. For casino, gaming hall and betting the bar has been 21 since September 2024; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. The check is automatic.
